The minimum academic qualification for admission is graduation from a provincial secondary school, including the equivalent of the following BC Grade 11 and 12 courses:
Principles of Mathematics 11 or Applications of Mathematics 11 and 12
Social Studies 11
an approved Science 11 (see list below)
English 12
three approved Grade 12 courses (see list below) (*)

Students who have not achieved at least 80% in English 12 (or equivalent) must enroll in CCC ENGL 109 or demonstrate their standard of English by writing the CCC English Placement Test.
Out-of-province students must demonstrate a suitable standard of English. Students who have not achieved at least 80% in English 12 or equivalent but who wish to be considered for direct entry into ENGL 110 (formerly ENGL 100) must perform satisfactorily on the CCC EPT.
